Shipping

Zoltan David will be shipping your order via Fedex Standard Overnight and most items will arrive within 3-4 business days from the date the order is placed. For a specific delivery arrival date, please call us to arrange for that. For security and insurance requirements, all packages require an adult signature upon delivery, regardless of any signed waivers you may have with Fedex. The package will be considered accepted when any person receiving the package at the designated address signs for it. Regular shipments will be scheduled to arrive on Mondays through Fridays. If you cannot be home on weekdays, Saturday delivery may be available for an additional fee. Please call us at 512.372.8888 to arrange that option. Sunday and Holiday delivery is not available.

Zoltan David only accepts online orders originating in the US and we only ship within the U.S. We cannot ship to PO boxes.

If it is impossible to be home to sign for your order, Zoltan David may be able to ship to your place of business, however this is an option that must be arranged with us in advance. As a security precaution to protect our clients against fraud, we will confirm that your issuing credit card company has confirmed this purchase and also confirms the alternate shipping address. To expedite this process, you will be asked to call your issuing bank and provide them with this information.

We do not provide the tracking number of your shipments. With the tracking number, it is possible to redirect the shipment without our consent or knowledge, adding additional costs and possibly allowing for fraud. Your insurance will be voided if the shipment is re-routed to a different address. If you need to track your shipment, please call or email us.

Insurance

Every package shipped from Zoltan David is insured for its full retail value. While it is extremely rare, merchandise can be damaged during shipment. Please fully inspect the exterior of the shipping box before you sign for the package. If there is any damage, request that the carrier wait while you open the box. If there is damage to the item, the carrier will make note of it.

Return Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If, within 7 days after receipt of your purchase you are not completely satisfied, you may return it for an exchange or store credit. Any item that is a special order, engraved, sized or custom altered in any way are not returnable. The items must not have been worn and the ZD tag must still be intact, or it will not be accepted for return. Refunds are made only to the original purchaser and in the exact method of original payment. Any item that is returned without the original packaging and/or with missing or damaged packaging materials will be subject to a restocking fee not to exceed $40.00. If an item is delivered with a diamond or gemstone lab certification and that certificate is not returned there will be a $250.00 fee to replace the certificate.

Our Return Process

To return or exchange any item purchased online, please follow the following process:

1. Call us at 512-372-8888 to get a Return Authorization number within 7 days of receipt of your merchandise.

2. The item must be returned using US Postal Service Registered Mail. (Fedex & UPS will not insure for more than $500.00) Be sure to ship the item fully insured and request a return receipt for confirmation that your shipment has reached its destination.

3. Pack the item, along with all packing materials (bag, box, any certificates, etc.) along with the original receipt in an appropriately sized box. Be sure to make and keep a copy of the receipt for yourself. Seal all seams with paper tape. Do not use plastic tape, it will not be accepted by the Post Office.

4. Contact us for shipping instructions.

5. Do not write any words on the exterior of the box that pertain to jewelry!

Once we receive your returned item, it will be inspected by our customer care specialist and your refund or exchange will be processed within a few days.

Our Warranty

We stand behind our craftsmanship and materials and we provide a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser of Zoltan David jewelry. This warranty covers any defect in material or workmanship, but it does not cover neglect, abuse or normal wear and tear. This is especially true for rings and bracelets. Our hands are in constant motion during the course of the day and our jewelry comes into metal on metal contact with doorknobs, handrails etc. Because of this, we recommend having your jewelry cleaned and inspected once a year. If your jewelry experiences any trauma (i.e., dropped on a tile floor, slammed in a door, driven over by a car, believe me, we’ve seen it all), please send it back to us for inspection. Regular inspections may help prevent stone loss and extend the life and the beauty of your jewelry. Damage or loss that results from failure to obtain repairs necessary to maintain the integrity of your jewelry are not covered under the warranty. Some examples of common jewelry issues that would not be considered to be workmanship or manufacturing defects include, but are not limited to:

1. Gemstones that have been scratched, chipped or fallen out due to negligent wear.

2. Bent, broken or worn out prongs. Stones will fall out due to these issues.

3. Harsh and not so harsh chemicals can irreparably ruin some gemstones, and even affect some precious metals. Please be cautious with chemicals.

Maintenance, repair, sizing or any other alteration by anyone other than Zoltan David will void your warranty. If we determine that the defect is not due to poor workmanship, we will notify you and let you know if repairs are possible and at what cost.

Sales Tax

Any items shipped to an address in the state of Texas will be charged the appropriate sales tax. Any items shipped outside the state of Texas will not be charged sales tax, however the purchaser may be liable to pay the sales or use tax to their state and it will be the purchasers responsibility to pay the assessed amount.

Repairs

Hopefully, your Zoltan David jewelry will never need a repair, but it will definitely need regular cleaning and inspections. We offer free cleaning and inspections and recommend that it be done at least once a year. You can ship it back to us using these steps:

1. Call us at 512-372-8888 and let us know that you are sending it.
