For the last twenty years the Spectrum Awards have been the highest pinnacle for designers of colored gemstone jewelry.  This 20-year anniversary brought out a record number of entries from all over North America.  The Spectrum Awards are judged on, originality, overall beauty and wearability, innovative design, and quality of materials and workmanship.  Zoltan David's ring is a masterpiece of goldsmithing, containing a 10.85 ct. round brilliant cut Rubelite and utilizing his patented metal ornamentation technique.  Mr. David has won over a dozen national and international design awards during his career, a claim that only a select few jewelry designers in the United States can make.
