July, 2011 – We've done it
again! Welcome to the latest addition to our small but growing empire –
Zoltan David Collection at the Oasis. We've created a boutique that is
completely the opposite, but exactly the same as our beautiful store in
the Hill Country Galleria. Completely the opposite in that it is almost
all windows, and exactly the same because it is wood intensive.
Our boutique features not only Zoltan's iconic designs, his latest contemporary collections and his new belt line, but we're also carrying the very contemporary black leather and pearl creations from Gellner as well as Alishan's tribal 'Edge' collection. We're also showcasing a couple of amazing guitars – a beautiful 'Halfling' Jazz guitar with inlaid mother of pearl by Larry Robinson from Tom Ribbecke, and a gorgeous electric masterpiece made from Texas ebony and black walnut from Sam Cardinal. Why, you ask, do we have guitars in a jewelry store? To bring attention the patent pending design for a revolutionary new slide that Zoltan and Lance Keltner created. Two of the custom designed slides are also featured in the boutique.

The
walls and floor are covered in wood, and the showcases were custom made
with salvaged wood from the 100 year old pecan trees from the legendary
Shady Grove RV Park in Austin. The centerpiece of the showroom is a
massive cedar tree trunk and every wall has a view of bronze sculptures
and the meticulously landscaped courtyards. Set in the amazing Oasis
'compound' overlooking Lake Travis, the boutique is a jeweled treasure.
Some may be wondering why we would open another location so close to our
existing studio/gallery, but all they have to do is visit and they
understand. The long time vision of restauranteur/entrepreneur Beau
Theriot has come to fruition in 'Oasis, Texas'. The fabulous views of
the lake from the Oasis are now enhanced by two new restaurants and a
charming and eclectic shopping experience.
